NASHVILLE – Country superstars Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood announced this morning alongside CMA Awards Executive Producer Robert Deaton that they will be returning for the 10th time to host Country Music’s Biggest Night™ in 2017. “The 51st Annual CMA Awards” airs live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville Wednesday, Nov. 8 (8:00-11:00 PM/ET) on the ABC Television Network.
The return of the beloved CMA Awards hosts was announced this morning at the Artist of the Day panel hosted by CMA board member Lon Heltonof Country Aircheck at XFINITY Fan Fair X, part of the CMA Music Festival.

The 2017 CMA Awards nominees and winners are determined by more than 7,600 professional members of CMA, which is the first trade organization formed to promote an individual genre of music in 1958.
The first “CMA Awards Banquet and Show” was held in 1967. The following year, the CMA Awards was broadcast on television for the first time – making it the longest running, annual music awards program on network television. The CMA Awards have aired on ABC since 2006. ABC is the network home of the CMA Awards and CMA’s other two television properties, “CMA Fest” and “CMA Country Christmas,” through 2021.
