CMA World GlobaLive! Rescheduled for Tuesday, June 9

UPDATE: This post was updated 6/8/15 at 10:48pm with updated performance times.

NASHVILLE – Thunderstorms, high wind, and lightening forced CMA to reschedule the CMA World GlobaLive! concert from Monday to Tuesday, June 9 (1:00-6:30 PM/CT).

“We take the decision to reschedule events during the Festival very seriously, because we don’t like disappointing our fans,” said Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “But the safety of our attendees – and the safety of the artists – is our top priority and the weather Monday night was too severe and unpredictable. Fortunately, we had the flexibility to move the concert to Tuesday and still provide a great concert experience for everyone – especially the artists who have traveled from around the world to be in Nashville for this event.”

CMA World GlobaLive!, which began in 2004 as the Global Artist Party, serves as a showcase for overseas talent leading up to the Festival. This year, GlobaLive! will be held on the outdoor stage in Walk of Fame Park, with international food and beverage vendors. The concert is free and open to the public and will feature performances by Country artists from Australia, Brazil, Canada, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, and the U.K. including (alphabetical by country and performer; line up subject to change):
