Official CMA After Hours Kick-Off Concerts Added to Nightly Activities; Artists Include The Clark Brothers, Whiskey Falls, and Mark Wills

NASHVILLE – CMA Music Festival is a non-stop party for Country Music lovers, and once again, the night owls in attendance can party the night away at 16 clubs and bars participating in the 2008 CMA Music Festival After Hours presented by CMT(TM), Thursday through Sunday, June 5-8, in Downtown Nashville.

When the last firework sparkles over the VAULT(TM) Concert Stage at LP Field, the CMA Music Festival party moves back across the river to the CMA After Hours Kick-Off Concerts at Hard Rock Cafe Nashville’s Outdoor Stage. Beginning at 11:30 PM, Thursday through Saturday, June 5-7, these free and open to the public concerts feature The Clark Brothers, Thursday; Whiskey Falls, Friday; and Mark Wills, Saturday.

“The After Hours program is a great way for visitors to discover Downtown Nashville’s fantastic nightlife and for locals to re-experience the wonderful music being played in their own backyard,” said Tammy Genovese CMA Chief Executive Officer.

Clubs participating in CMA Music Festival After Hours include Bailey’s Pub & Grille, B.B. King’s Blues Club, Buck Wild Saloon, Cadillac Ranch, Coyote Ugly, Hard Rock Cafe Nashville, Layla’s Bluegrass Inn, Legends Corner, Limelight, Nashville Crossroads, Rippy’s Smokin’ Bar & Grill, Robert’s Western World, Second Fiddle, The Stage on Broadway, Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge and Wildhorse Saloon. Broadcast Live on XM channel 16 nightly and held inside Hard Rock Cafe Nashville Thursday through Saturday, June 5-7, each show kicks-off at midnight with the proceeds benefiting Musicians On Call (MOC), a nonprofit organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and other healthcare facilities in Nashville and across the country. Tickets are $15 and are available through Ticketalternative.com to buy online; or charge-by-phone at (877) 725-8849.
